Prepare your records, tracking and filing systems
Set up record keeping and tracking systems so that you are ready to efficiently manage a positive journey of support for:
- Parents – from first contact during pregnancy to gaining their final feedback when the support finishes
- Volunteers – from initial interview to final feedback when their volunteering finishes.
Record keeping and filing systems may be electronic or paper-based and must comply with the latest data protection legislation.
The documents in this section also embed some monitoring and evaluation data that can be transferred onto a database for further analysis. This is explained further in our Stage 5 guide: Reviewing and improving your programme.
