Ashleigh experienced a mental breakdown previous to falling pregnant with her first child. She sought professional help and was discharged from therapy well before she fell pregnant.
However, when she fell pregnant, anxiety began to resurface and she feared she would miscarry. Being pregnant through a pandemic, prevented her from accessing traditional antenatal classes so she was referred to Parents 1st Essex by her Community Midwife for some extra support.
