Trustees' report 2022-2023
At the beginning of 2023 Parents 1st UK CIO merged with Parents 1st Essex CIC and enabled our organisation to streamline administrative and management processes and most importantly to ensure continued cross-fertilisation between our national work and local programmes.
We are more than ever determined to continue sharing our free resources and expanding the provision of Perinatal Peer Support for parents and babies whilst being truly present and rooted in local communities in Essex.
Trustees' report 2021-2022
There has been a growing recognition this year that quality peer support can make a huge contribution towards preventing and reducing the development or escalation of perinatal mental health problems.
This year, we have seen more and more members joining our online platform and using the guides to develop quality perinatal peer support. Our online community has continued to help people understand why perinatal peer support is so valuable, what quality peer support looks like, and how to design, grow and sustain it.
Trustees' report 2020-2021
2020-2021 was quite a year for Parents 1st UK, and we are immensely proud of our achievements.
During this period we developed and launched the programme, worked with new partners with different expertise, achieved registration with the Charity Commission, and more. These achievements have all been challenging and rewarding in equal measure.
We are delighted therefore to share our first Trustees' report, which highlights our achievements throughout our first year.
