If you would like to find out more about becoming a volunteer for Parents 1st then please complete and submit our 'Expression of Interest Form'
We will then be in touch with you to discuss which kind of volunteer role you would be interested in, and let you know when the next training opportunity will be available and the steps to take for your chosen role.
About the training
We offer different training options depending on the volunteer role you're interested in. However, all volunteers are required to complete our basic training first—this will help you understand who we are and what we do.
Once you've completed the basic training, you can start volunteering by helping us share information about the services we offer. Or, you can also choose to continue your training if you're interested in taking on a different role.
You’re welcome to add to your training at any time in the future if you'd like to explore different volunteering opportunities with us. Training is free, friendly and fun, and we are with you all the way!

Volunteering with Parents 1st UK helps you to:
- Make new friends

- Meet some volunteers and Pregnancy Pals/birth buddies
- Chat to our team

We organise courses on demand and will let you know the date of the next course. Places are subject to availability.
