On 13th and 15th October 2020, at our Virtual Conference, we introduced this brand new “Open Access” website – a free, dedicated space for everyone involved or interested in perinatal peer support - particularly practitioners, coordinators, volunteers, parents, funders and researchers.
The vision is to co-create a central, dedicated, shared space that enables quality perinatal peer support to flourish across the UK:
- Connect with others – share your news, views, and offer support
- Share “voices” from your community
- Celebrate what’s going on in your area
- Share learning about ‘what works’ – your experience is very valuable!
- Download a wealth of free resources and guidance
- Test out new ideas
You are warmly invited to help make this happen!
This website uses the Made Open Digital Platform – specifically designed for connecting communities. There is a lot of amazing functionality that you can use– so we are offering free guided virtual tours designed to help you get involved in this exciting new online community of practice!

Workshop Overview
During this 1-hour tour, we’ll be looking at:
- Where you can find all the free guides and resources you need to get a peer support initiative up and running or review and develop an existing initiative
- The different ways you can contribute to the website and on-line community (conversations, share your news and events, case studies or write a guest blog)
- How to set up a private group space on the website to share documents, chat and assign tasks (useful for sharing information with parents, volunteers or team members within your organisation)
