We are supporting local expectant mums to prepare for labour, birth and becoming a parent through informal antenatal sessions which are run by our fully trained peer supporters, Terina and Jamie. The sessions are free and are a great opportunity to ask questions and share any worries or concerns that you may have. Each session last approx. 1.5 hours
These sessions run once a week for 3 weeks.
Dates: 13th, 20th, 27th June
Time: 12:00-2:00pm
Duration: Approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Session 1 You and your wellbeing (healthy eating, keeping active, changing body, emotional wellbeing)
Session 2 Preparing for labour and birth (managing contractions, labour bag, birth positions, expectations)
Session 3 Practical baby care (nappy changing, bathing, safe sleep, feeding, travelling with your baby)
