Our Family Groups are available to Home-Start Essex families who want to meet other parents, make new friends, and gain peer support from others. With professionally trained staff and volunteers on hand, parents find a safe and contained space to share their experiences.
The aim of the groups is to come and play, meet others, and most importantly have fun! On top of this our staff plan weekly activities that focus on teaching children the skills they need to be Nursery/School ready. Children can play, learn, and grow.
We have 12 fun, friendly, Family Groups running across Essex every week in term time. See below for the group timetable:
Monday – Brentwood and Witham
Tuesday – Harlow and Saffron Walden
Wednesday – Basildon, Chelmsford, Halstead and Maldon
Thursday – Epping Forest and Chelmsford
