Hi Everyone,

I'm not really sure how this works but here goes anyway.

I've just started a new role as a Dads Peer Support Facilitator. It's an exciting new project in the Blackpool area that will be supporting dads going through pregnancy and or who have children 0 to 4 years old.

The project is going to be Co-produced and I'm just looking for some ideas on how to get it started initially such as specific material that I could bring to the groups.

I've never done any co-production before so any help and suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thankyou in advance

John,

Great to see you getting into this area. I've got lots of resource that may be helpful if you're still going...

Hi Iain,
I hope you are well.
First of all let me apologise for not getting back to you all them months ago. The groups we are delivering have been consistent with a small number of Dads, but I think it's time for us to introduce some other material. Hope you can help.

Kind Regards,

John

Hi John,

I hope your new role is going well and you have had some success in getting some ideas on how to get it started and also found some materials that you could bring to the groups in regard to coproduction. You can also refer to our guides section of the website which shares lots of step by step information and evidence-based resources on how to set up a programme in your local area, from thinking about what it is you are trying to achieve to designing, setting up, delivering and reviewing and improving your programme.

Best of luck with your new project in the Blackpool area, that will be supporting dads through pregnancy and/or who have children 0 to 4 years old, sounds amazing and much needed.
