As part of a project with the Academic Health Science Network  (AHSN) DadPad are asking for your help to test their Community Forum so they can understand how to best include and support new fathers from all backgrounds.

DadPad are asking fathers to contribute by answering a few questions they have put together with great care in the new Community Forum area of their new app. This will help DadPad to understand how to achieve the highest level of care for you and your families.

If you would like to take part or find out more, please email [email protected] with the email address you use for either your Apple account or Google Play (Android device) account.

By sending DadPad your email address you only consent to receive an email. This allows them to send you the joining instructions for the new app, and explain more fully how to easily participate should you wish to do so.

As a Community Interest Company, DadPad have worked for over 10 years developing guidebooks (The DadPad) and an app (The DadPad App) to help Health and Maternity services to better include, engage and support new dads as they transition to fatherhood.

All answers and thought contributions to the forum questions will be summarised and fed back to the AHSN and DadPad will write a report to help identify changes that can be recommended to inform best practice standards. No personally identifying information will be shared publicly.

You can find out more about us  www.thedadpad.co.uk, and the South West Academic Health Science Network https://swahsn.com/. Feel free to look at their collective work and read about the benefit of supporting new dads who need a lot more information and support than they have been offered previously.

On behalf of DadPad we thank you for considering helping us gain a greater insight into some of the barriers there are for you as a new father.
