At Cake Club we offer individual support and advice for parents and carers who want to carry their children. A range of slings and carriers are available for hire, from newborn to toddler. Individual consultations/group workshops can be arranged.

You can book you place on one of our in-person Cake Club sessions, book 1:1 consultations or hire one of our slings.
We are back!
Our in-person Cake Club sessions take place on Mondays and Fridays in Westcliff, Tuesdays in Rochford, Wednesdays in Southchurch and Thursdays in Shoebury and Leigh-on-Sea. Parenting support, infant feeding support, sling library and general parenting solidarity are all available every week*. Booking is essential due to track and trace requirements.
*No sling library at Rochford just yet - will be up and running ASAP!
1:1 consultations
Available to book now either at my home in Westcliff, online via Zoom, or as a home visit. Book here or get in touch for more info. Slings can also be hired from 85 Electric Avenue (by prior arrangement) or by post. Local delivery can be arranged free of charge for those who are vulnerable, shielding or self-isolating, otherwise a £5 delivery charge will be added.If you're not sure what you'd like to hire, you can complete this Google form and we will get back to you with some suggestions ASAP.
Hire fees are as follows:
Stretchy wraps & Close Caboos - £5 per week / £12 for 4 weeks / £20 for 3 months (4th trimester)
We also run a free stretchy wrap scheme for babies under 8 weeks - a two week hire free of charge, with a £20 deposit taken.
Newborn buckle carriers (Izmi carrier, Mamaruga Zensling, Errobaby Embrace) - £30 for 3 months (4th trimester)
All other slings and carriers - £5 per week / £18 for 4 weeks / £30 for 8 weeks.
