Hello my name is Marika and I am from Perth in Western Australia. I am A Parent/Family Consumer Representative, Parent Leader and Community Health Navigator. I have a 21 year old son and five year old daughter whom I both love and adore. Children, Families and Communities are in my line of work at the local level in various settings. I am a Strong with Individual and Self-Advocacy and I have a strong passion in my work Parent Engagement in Learning and Family Leadership. I believe at the end of the day,the most overwhelming key to a childs success if the positive involvement of Parents. I am confident in social and emotional development of The Early Years and also believe Parenting Programs and Home Visiting Programs strengthen and help us to reach the most marginilised and disadvantaged families in our communites to engage them help build their confidence to achieve connections to community and strive and thrive
