About

I teach in Early Years settings such as schools and Day nurseries. I'm also a childcare tutor and assessor. The director for Peace&Grace CIC

I am a qualified Early Years Teacher and assessor in Early Years/SEN education and development. I am a self-motivated individual qualified with a great deal of valuable experience in teaching, management, and leadership skills.

I have more than 10 years of working with children in the mainstream with various disabilities such as autistic syndrome disorder (ASD) in settings such as preschool, primary, and secondary schools in a multicultural society as a learning support and curriculum support assistant and then qualified as a teacher. Some of the children showed challenging behaviours and diverse needs. I observed, assessed, and planned activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and National curriculum to support learning and development for all children providing clear structured learning, using various strategies; modelling, instructing, scaffolding children's activities, and promoting British values and cultural diversities.

I am self-reflective and able to get the best out of others. I am always seeking ways to improve provision for all children regardless of their disability. I have a professional outlook and thrive on challenges. I am skilful and ambitious in making a difference in the lives of children.

I formed Peace&Grace CIC to help young mums, especially BAME with maternal mental health problems who cannot easily access mainstream support. We are committed to helping, Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) mums experiencing depression after having their babies navigate their challenges, barriers, and difficulties through our compassionate and caring approach.

I am a strong communicator with a proven ability to lead and mentor others from different starting points, for example, apprentices, assistant educators, educators, and childcare supervisors. I understand that adults and children learn differently and have various skills to make this happen. I enjoy being part of the team and also working on my own.

I am easily approachable, understanding, tolerant, patient, and a good listener.
