I am the Programme Manager for Thurrock and South Essex promoting the Pregnancy Pals and Birth Buddies exisiting programme to all expectant parents in Thurrock and South Essex. 

I am a Mum to two children and have experienced times when I would have greatly benefited in peer support. When I had my eldest child there was still elements of shame attached to mental health and being able to ask for help without feelings of judgement. 

My aim is to make sure that parents feel able to access the resources required to make their parenting journey a positive experience for them.
