Project timetable
For information about how this project works and what you'll be doing, click on each week for more details.

What you'll do:
- Introductory group session
- Get to know each other and do some welcome exercises.
- We'll chat about Tiny Moments (small moments that were a 'win' for you as a parent, or a special moment you can remember about your baby's development) with the group.
- We'll try a few activities with your baby, like singing their names, and sharing what songs you know with the group.
- You'll leave this session knowing who you'll be paired with for the 1-to-1 sessions, and what you need to prepare for the next session.

What you'll do:
- This will be a chance to introduce yourself to the musician you've been paired with in a 1-to-1 setting. You can chat about yourself, your journey to becoming a parent, and why you like music.
- Your musician will chat about themselves and show you some of their previous work. They'll help you to start working out ideas for writing your own lyrics.
- You'll discuss how the letter you've written to your baby, nicknames you call them, or special moments you've shared can all become lyrics in your lullaby.

What you'll do:
- You will discuss more ideas for lyrics with the musician you've been paired with. This might include talking about other family members, distinctive sounds in your home, or something that's unique or different about your family.
- Your musician will start to put these ideas to music. You'll do fun exercises together to work out how you think the lullaby should sound. They'll discuss the melody with you, play it and repeat it until you feel it's right.

What you'll do:
- This will be a group check-in session where you'll be able to chat about how everyone's songwriting process is going.
- There'll be group singing exercises, chances to share your Tiny Moments with everyone, chat about any challenges you've had, and maybe even sing pieces of each others' lullabies.

What you'll do:
- This will be a practice performance session.
- Your musician will play the entire lullaby for you. You can then practise the song together.
- If you choose to sing the lullaby yourself, you'll do some breathing and singing exercises. We really encourage you to sing your lullaby so that your baby can benefit from hearing your voice.
- If you don't want to sing, you can direct your musician about how you want the lullaby to be sung.
- Finally, you and your musician will record your lullaby. You can record this live. Or, if you've sent through voice memos or recordings in advance, you can decide where to place them within your lullaby recording.
This will be an in-person group celebration event.

What you'll do:
- This will be a chance for you to share your lullaby with the whole group, as well as friends and family.
- You can either perform your lullaby live, or listen to the recording of it. Everyone will be invited to join in with each other's songs.
