Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service provide face to face and virtual group sessions.

Here is a brief overview of what they offer:

Say Hi Baby – This is a group where parents/carers can attend with their 0–1-year-old, to meet and socialise with other parents/carers. Advice and support is available for families, including early development, infant feeding and introducing solids.

Infant feeding support – This is offered alongside our Say Hi Baby groups in some locations, in Braintree this is a stand-alone session. This covers breastfeeding, formula feeding as well as combi feeding. We also run a virtual session for this.

First Time Parents – This is a 4-week course for new parents, with the following aims: increase confidence in parenting, enhance emotional well-being, build relationships, and meet other parents in the area to establish informal support networks (need to book on by calling 0300 2470014)

Baby Massage – A 4-week course for parents / carers that offers support with colic, reflux, and attachment, as well as offering an opportunity to build new relationships with other parents/carers (referral only).
