If you would like to find out more about becoming a volunteer for Parents1st Essex then please complete and submit our 'Expression of Interest Form'
Our programme co-ordinator will then be in touch with you to tell you about any upcoming taster courses which is a great way of discovering whether being a Pregnancy Pal is for you. You can 'test the water' without having to make a commitment. The course will be in person or online and runs for 4 weeks (you attend all the sessions).
About the course
It is free, friendly and fun!
It helps you to:
- Make new friends
- Build your confidence
- Gain some new skills
- Meet some Pregnancy Pals
- Chat to our team and
- Decide whether it's for you.
At the end of the course we will help you to decide whether being a Pregnancy Pal is for you. There may also be other volunteering options and opportunities that we could offer you too.
We organise courses on demand and will let you know the date of the next course. Places are subject to availability
